Research progress on the relationship between autophagy regulated by FKBPs family and tumors

  • FK506 binding proteins (FKBPs) family is a highly conserved protein family with peptidyl prolyl cis/trans isomerase activity, which is closely related to the occurrence and outcome of tumors. In recent years, many studies have found that FKBPs family members such as FKBP12, FKBP38 and FKBP51 are closely related to autophagy, and participate in the occurrence and development of tumors by regulating autophagy. In order to better understand the relationship between FKBPs family and autophagy, and provide theoretical basis for the development of autophagy based tumor diagnosis and treatment programs, this article reviews the research progress of the relationship between autophagy regulated by FKBPs family and tumors.
