Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most prevalent and deadliest cancers. Most of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family proteins have E3 ubiquitin ligase activity and are involved in the regulation of various cellular biology processes, including gene expression, cell cycle progress, apoptosis, signal transduction, and carcinogenesis.More and more studies suggest that members of the TRIM family play an important role in promoting the proliferation, migration and invasion of HCC cells. This review aims to discuss the role of the TRIM family in HCC, providing a basis for identifying new diagnostic and therapeutic targets for HCC.
