山东省农村地区食物摄入与自杀未遂的关系研究

Association between food consumption and attempted suicide in rural areas of Shandong Province

  • 摘要: 目的:研究山东省农村人群中的自杀未遂与食物摄入的关系。方法:选取山东邹城、莒南、章丘、新泰和沂水5个县农村地区的自杀未遂者作为病例组,同期选择性别和年龄(±3岁)相匹配的同村或邻村居民作为对照组,每组132例。采用面对面、一对一的访谈方式和问卷收集研究对象的相关信息。采用多因素条件logistic 回归模型分析食物摄入与自杀未遂的关系。结果:调查对象中位年龄40 岁(31~46 岁),两组女性均占63.6%。与对照组相比,自杀未遂者个人年收入更低或更多存在身体疾病和精神障碍等(P< 0.05)。单因素分析结果显示,水果和茶的摄入与自杀未遂有关(P< 0.05),而海鲜、红肉和豆制品与自杀未遂无关(P> 0.05)。调整婚姻状况、职业、个人年收入、身体疾病、精神障碍和其他食物摄入等影响因素后,水果摄入≥3 d/周为自杀未遂的保护因素(OR=0.37,95% CI:0.15~0.92),但茶、海鲜、红肉和豆制品摄入与自杀未遂无关(P> 0.05)。结论:水果摄入≥每周3 d是自杀未遂的保护因素,茶、海鲜、红肉和豆制品的摄入与自杀未遂无关。

     

    Abstract: Objective: To examine whether food consumption was associated with attempted suicide in rural population of Shandong Province.Methods: Suicide attempters in rural areas of five counties, Zoucheng, Junan, Zhangqiu, Xintai and Yishui in Shandong Province were selected as the case group, and residents from the same or neighboring villages who were matched in gender and age (±3 years) were contemporaneously selected as the control group, with 132 cases in each group.Face-to-face and one-on-one interviews and questionnaires were used to collect relevant information of the participants.Multivariate conditional logistic analysis was used to as-sess the association between food consumption and attempted suicide.Results: The median age of participants was 40 years old(31-46 years old), and 63.6%were women in both groups.Compared with the control group, sui-cide attempters had lower individual annual income or more physical illnesses and mental disorders (P< 0.05).Univariate analysis showed the consumption of fruit and tea was associated with attempted suicide (P< 0.05), while seafood, red meat, and soy product consumption weren’t(P> 0.05).After adjusting for factors such as marital status, occupation, individual annual income, physical diseases, mental disorders and other food consump-tion, fruit consumption ≥3 d per week was a protective factor for attempted suicide (OR=0.37, 95% CI: 0.15-0.92), while tea, seafood, red meat, and soy product consumption were not associated with attempted suicide(P> 0.05).Conclusion: Fruit consumption ≥3 d per week is a protective factor for attempted suicide, while tea, sea-food, red meat, and soy product consumption are not associated with attempted suicide in this study.
