Abstract: This paper introduces the general framework of new biomedical engineering and its development direction under the new situation of science and technology, reveals the breakthrough point of high-end medical devices and three special actions to be implemented to improve the industry in the new situation in Chinaand presents the readers with an overview of current biomedical engineering.
