Abstract: As suicide prevention gatekeepers, primary and community health workers play important roles in suicide prevention.Based on the latest research advances on suicide at home and abroad, this review focuses on three aspects: suicide countertransference identification, suicide risk assessment, and psychosocial interventions for suicide risk, so as to provide possible references for primary and community mental health workers and other non-professionals in suicide prevention work.
