Study on the status quo and its influencing factors of e-health literacy among high-risk population of cardiovascular diseases in Qingxiu district, Nanning city

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the status quo and its influencing factors of e-health literacy among high-risk population of cardiovascular diseases in Qingxiu district of Nanning, so as to improve their e-health literacy status and the ability of disease management. Methods: The population of high-risk cardiovascular disease screening project in Qingxiu district of Nanning were randomly included.Simple sampling method was used to conduct questionnaire survey with self-designed general information questionnaire and e-health literacy scale(eHEALS) to investigate the high-risk population.Single factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the influencing factors of e-health literacy in high-risk population of cardiovascular disease. Results: A total of 213 patients with high risk of car-diovascular disease were included in this study, and the eHEALS was 22(8-30), which was 26 points low-er than cut-off point of the e-health literacy score, and was at a low level.Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in e-health literacy scores among age, marital status, educational level, access to the Internet, frequency of Internet use, payment method of medical expenses and annual family income(P< 0.05).Multiple linear regression analy-sis showed that the higher the education level, the frequency of Internet use rate and the family income, the high-er the e-health literacy score. Conclusion: The e-health literacy level of the survey subjects is generally low, which is affected by a variety of factors.Effective intervention measures should be personalized to improve the e-health literacy level of high-risk population of cardiovascular disease.
