Abstract:
To a certain extent, there are some problems in medical ethics practice in China, such as inaccurate theoretical understanding of medical ethics, misconduct in practical operation, and ineffective ethical decisionmaking.From the perspective of medical ethics education, the reasons mainly include that the educational goal of medical ethics emphasizes theory over practice, the educational concept emphasizes skills over literacy, the curriculum setting emphasizes modules over integration, and the teaching method emphasizes indoctrination over exploration.It is necessary to innovate the objectives, educational concepts, curriculum models and teaching methods of medical ethics education, establish a cooperative mechanism, a knowledge integration mechanism, a spiritual cultivation mechanism and a knowledge inquiry mechanism of medical ethics education so as to improve medical ethics literacy and medical ethics decision-making ability.
